i have a thing for scandinavian design. i love white walls and pops of colour. for some reason though, as soon as we move into a new place, i paint with color. In all fairness, i don't paint with bright colors, i stick to greys and beiges, but once it's on, i'm totalling jetting down regret central. i'm also a little nervous about saying anything because, let's be honest, i'm not often the one putting in the arm work. he knows though. oh does he know. thank god that poor gorgeous boyfriend of mine loves me. i usually share these tidbits between kisses. and before you know it, the rollers and trays are out again.
so... guess who's found herself in a similar situation!!! i totes promise that this is going to be the very last time. to my defence, the walls in our place were beyond horrendous and i wasn't thinking clearly. I was blinded by ugly and although white seems so simple, grey is was. EVERYWHERE.... OHHHhhh the mistake!!!
so anywho.... we're now debating whether we would like to stay in our current abode or venture elsewhere. if we choose to stay, we'll be digging out those rollers and trays once more. all white, with maybe the exception of the bathroom as it's already white, but idk. maybe it just needs a new coat.
in saying that, here is a touch of earthy scandi inspo. i truly love all the mini pops of plants. the green of the plants with the wood countertops and floors makes for a very simple and cozy home. im also a fan of the white cupboards.
