weekend mashup

i almost started telling you about the quiet weekend we had, but as i started typing, i realized it wasn't quiet at all.  i actually feel like we haven't had a quiet weekend in awhile.  the past 2-3 weekends have been friday night dinners, saturday night cocktail parties, sunday morning/late afternoon brunches and so on.

yesterday brought us to the east end and found us wandering queen street and the beach.  probably one of my favorite neighourhoods in the city.  we brunched and wandered.  i was super happy when we stumbled on this little shop selling the most amazing summer scarves. .. and so despite jp's disapproval, and his lack of understanding my need to expand my scarf collection, i most definitely picked up a couple.

anywho, even though it's been a busy few weeks, i'm feeling pretty blah and can't seem to formulate the  words to put together sentences to tell you about it.  i will instead leave you with the below picture.  isn't she just the prettiest thing you've ever seen??!!!!
