{summer days & instagram}
oh the possibilities for a low key weekend in the city.
with a mere week or so to go before our 2 week séjour out
west, the boy and I opted for a quiet weekend in the city. quite pleasant
really, as most of toronto decided on the opposite.
on saturday we ventured to the east end of the city and
discovered brickworks. neither of us had ever been and yet having seen it
in pictures from friends weekend excursions over and over, it felt familiar.
we wandered, we ate, we shopped, and we ate some more.

on sunday we ventured to the east end again, only with a different destination in mind. we made our way to Rosetta McClain Gardens and Bluffers Park. The view was spectacular to say the least. You'd never guess you were still in the city. With summer cravings of tranquility and cottage escapes, this was a welcome discovery.
